Adelaide Last Part

Day 5 was mainly spent being around Adelaide City, walking around, eating at brother's normal eating place when he was still in uni and going to Adelaide's known to be the biggest shopping center, Westfield Marion.

~ ~ ~

Day 6 was considered as my last day in Adelaide

Went off to Hahndorf, a german-like town along with some of brother's friends

Yeap Shen

After lunch due to the hot hot weather, all of us went to a second spot with sufficient air-condition for drinks
And a picture of our sunnies =)

~ ~ ~
That's mainly my whole Adelaide trip
Enjoyed myself a lot, especially those precious times spent together with second brother
Next precious moment coming up... Parents arriving on Thursday!
Can't wait...!!!

Adelaide Part 4

Went to the major wine-producing region of South Australia, Barossa

~ ~ ~

One of the wineries, Seppeltsfield

~ ~ ~
Another winery, Jacob's Creek

~ ~ ~
Went to "The Whispering Wall" after which i found really really amazing!

Whispering at this end...

You'll be able to hear it clearly from the other end, yes i'm serious, the far far end.
This whispering wall definitely cheers me up,
Imagine your boyfriend proposing using this whispering wall,
That's going to be so romantic and sweet! =D

~ ~ ~
Thereafter we shot off to see the biggest rocking horse in the world
Fine, i'm still young at heart
I was again amazed and happy to see it =P

This is the rocking horse!
See how tiny brother was compared to the rocking horse
We could actually access to go up the rocking horse for AUD$2, but we didn't give it a go.
It's a pity we didn't, but well i don't really regret it,
I was satisfied to see the rocking horse by itself just like this

That's pretty much my Day 4 in Adelaide =)
I'm tired and sleepy right now which explains the lack of enthusiasm in this post,
But pictures do tell a lot don't they?
=D

Adelaide Part 3

Paid a visit to brother's new working office before heading off to our destination for the day

Brother and his working space
~ ~ ~

Thereafter we head off to Victor Harbour

Don't ask me why does it show Granite Island, i have no idea

~ ~ ~
Were supposed to head back to Adelaide after Victor Harbour
But brother's friend called to ask us to detour to Hindmarsh Island to see whether there are any crabbing area around
To disappointment, the crabs there are mainly sand crabs, not suitable to be cooked or eaten

~ ~ ~

Then we went back up to Adelaide and joined brother's friends for dinner

That was my Day 3 in Adelaide =)

Adelaide Part 2

Off we went to Adelaide Zoo to see Wang Wang and Funi

Wondering who's Wang Wang and Funi?

They are the two giant pandas in which Adelaide Zoo has been entrusted the care with

Adelaide Zoo wasn't part of our itinerary in the first place

But for Wang Wang and Funi being the only giant pandas in the Southern Hemisphere

There we went

This is Funi, and how does Wang Wang look? They are the same, so let's save on his picture.

This is a group picture of all of us in the zoo, all of them are brother's friends

~ ~ ~

After dinner, brother brought me to Victoria Square

Brother said the Christmas tree that they put up had been the same every year

This is the picture parents took of the Christmas tree a few years back

Few years now it's still the same Christmas tree =)

The huge Santa's Mail Box

And this was my Day 2 in Adelaide, simple and nice =D

Adelaide Part 1

A getaway from Melbourne all the way to Adelaide to spend a week with second brother

It was a fruitful week and i enjoyed those time spent together with brother

I hope he enjoyed too, of course except his wallet part. =P

And of course lots of gratitude

Because despite of the scorching hot weather on days

Brother still brought me to places of attraction every day

Thank you =D

~ ~ ~

Glenelg Beach - Spell it forward or backward, it still spelled the same

~ ~ ~
Highlight of the day - University of Adelaide
Wow, their building are all so Harry Potter feel, i like i like
And brother was my photographer because almost every building i wanted a picture
Especially those places where i remembered parents and brother had pictures together during brother's graduation ^_^
Some of the snapshots

This is their library, see how grand is that compared to Monash

Another side of the library building

River by the end of the university

Pathway to exit the university

That was my Day 1 in Adelaide ending with steamboat for dinner with brother's friends

=)
